Rock music is very popular nowadays, especially among younger generations. Young people sing rock music to become in. People tend to sing rock music very loud that it gets irritating to the ears. It may sound noisy to some people but some would crave for it. And the process of this screaming is more complicated than it actually sounds. You cannot just scream and shout, it has music behind it. In my high school years i was taught by a friend on how to sing a rock music, that is the reason why i also want to share what i learned.

It is very important to be familiar with the proper technique for you to be able to sing rock music. It should be properly observed that this kind of music is attained correctly. Scream singing or rock music has procedures that are very complicated and intricate because it also needs screaming but in a proper way. Experiment with your voice, it is important for you to know the highest note that you can belt, but do not force yourself beyond the limit for it might get harmful for your voice. It is also very important to do proper vocal warm ups before singing rock music.

Below are some tips to remember:

•In scream singing of course you need a lot screaming. Because screaming is not a very easy thing to do, it is important to lots of patient with yourself and with your voice. It might take you a couple of weeks or even a month before you can master screaming and eventually making it into a music.

•Always remember to maximize the air that you are breathing. Avoid staining yourself but still do not deprive yourself of air. Breathe a lot of air as much as you can.

•Next tip is to be hydrated while practicing or performing scream singing. Drink a lot of water and also you must avoid carbonated drinks or soft drinks at that.

•It can help you improve your singing by listening to death metal music. By just listening to it, it will give you an idea on how it is done. But if you can go to a live death metal or Rock and Roll concert, do it. It is much better. A first hand experience in scream singing is very helpful if you really want to learn this kind of singing.

•It is very important to relax yourself, breath sensibly. You should enjoy yourself while singing scream singing.

•The very important thing here is to take very good care of your voice. After you practice scream singing, always remember not to drink cold drinks or even cold water, also avoid talking too much if you can feel that your voice is strained.

•Avoid straining your voice. Do not do things that will make you scream unnecessarily. Love your voice because in this type of music, your voice is very important since it requires a lot of screaming especially in live performances.
