   Catchy tune.keyboards well thought out in composition.I always interpreted this song as playing around with perfume “names”. Maybe i’m wrong.

   This is 100% Gothic. sort of a Sister’s of Mercy/ Bauhaus sound.

   Wikipedia:Clan of Xymox are a darkwave/gothic rock band. Their debut album was released by 4AD in 1985, and drew comparisons to Joy Division and The Cure. The Cure and Joy Division are Gothic. 1985 is pre-darkwave.
